Springhill Photography Tours
Springhill Photography, in co-operation with Tourism King conduct escorted, drive yourself King Township photography tours spring, summer, fall and winter. The annual tours are open to any all who wish to discover and photograph the natural environment, local wild life, birds, flora, fauna and heritage buildings.
We are planning several 4+ hour guided tours on the 3rd Sunday in July, August, September, October, November, and one in the winter at a cost of $35.00/person, per tour. The cost of the tour automatically enrolls you as a member in the Springhill Photography Club. All day tours can be arranged, and more tour dates added, so please ask. Tours to depart at 9:30 a.m. location confirmation will be included in our email. The 2007 tour dates are:

- August 19
- September 16
- October 21
- November 18

King Township, located on the Oak Ridges Moraine, just minutes north of Toronto and other urban centres, provides, among other things, a stunning backdrop for outdoor, nature and heritage photography. Enjoy a day in King, hiking through old-growth forests, marshes and bogs in search of images of flora, fauna, birds and wildlife with people who share your passion. Or, stroll through the quaint villages and enjoy taking photographs of the historic, heritage homes and cemetaries.
Whether you are a seasoned 35mm or digital photographer, a novice or hobbyist, come spend the day and enjoy all that mother nature has to offer on your photography stroll through King Township. Print out the Springhill PhotographyDisplay Card for your records.
The tour organizers will ensure that participants: - Meet at the same designated time and location for each tour.
- Receive a little local King history.
- Receive Oak Ridges Moraine information if they wish.
- Receive a map of King Township.
- Have their work published in the ‘Visions of King’ photo centre, if they wish to share their images.
Children under the age of 16: - Children are accompanied by a parent or guaradian.
- Accompanying parent or guardian is responsible for their charge.
- Children not with a parent must have a signed letter of authority, which must be submitted before the day of the tour, and will be confirmed before departure.
In order to make this a truly fun and safe event, King Township Photography Tour participants will be required to sign a one time waiver prior to departure (see Tour Waiver.)
